Eddy’s Pack is a new Canicross club in Exmouth bringing together passionate dog owners and their furry companions to explore trails, build friendships, and enjoy the benefits of Canicross and power trekking. We believe in the incredible bond between humans and dogs, which is why we’re proud to support Veterans With Dogs through our fundraising efforts.

This amazing charity provides assistance dogs for military veterans struggling with mental health challenges, offering life-changing support and companionship.

With each of our events, £1 from every entry fee will be donated to Veterans With Dogs. Together, we can make a real difference while staying active and having fun with our dogs. VWD from Veterans With Dogs

VETERANS WITH DOGS was founded in 2012 to train and provide assistance dogs to help mitigate the symptoms of mental health difficulties for our Veterans and active-duty service members.

We saw the real need to establish a programme of training as there were no other organisations in the UK providing dogs specifically for mental health disabilities. The task was a huge undertaking, but seeing how veterans and their families suffer is a heart-breaking experience and only strengthened our resolve to do 'something' to help.

More Veterans are dying from suicides as a result of the impact of the psychological and emotional trauma than have been killed in conflict. The divorce rate, number who are now in prison or homeless, and the impact these issues are having on their children of our Veterans are shocking. Many have severed relationships, are afraid to leave their homes, get little sleep due to recurring nightmares, and are emotionally numb.

As an organisation focused on improving health and well-being for Veterans, we are passionate about the life-transforming effects that can happen when we bring people and dogs together.

We’re excited about our future and how we can help more Veterans through partnerships with assistance dogs.
